Ipoding A 1994 318i - Done Deal

I bought my son a 318i for university. He found an Ipod adapter that allows you to play your Ipod through your FM radio, chosing a specific station. He only just set it up, there's nothing to wire into the car, just an FM transmitter from the Ipod that the radio picks up. It was only $45 Canadian so cheaper in the States. I know some of you will be interested in this.

I also Ipoded my 2002 330xi so that I can use all the buttons on the steering wheel to run the Ipod. The Ipod will also charge while it is hooked up. I had it wired into the storage box above the cigarette lighter box.

That is nothing new. For me and my area, the FM transmitter sucked. Not bashing it or anything, it might workw ell in your area.
Ipods are so nice when you have 2000 songs over having all those cds in your car.

You should consider the "i cable", available at any ipod store, good guys, etc. Its only like 20-30 dollars US and plugs right into the back of your deck/receiver. Then you run the cable (6ft) anywhere through your dash, or where ever, and plug it right into your ipod. It's what I'm running in my car and it is sweet, absuloutly no skipping, no matter the weather or bumpiness.
