well i installed my xbrace today, i did it without using those stupid nutserts. first i used a punch and punched out a slightly smaller hole than a nut , then i banged in the nut. next i welded the nut into place then grinded it flat to get a better fit. now while i was about to install my brace , i had to take off the stock bar. so i noticed two holes at the same distance apart right behind the original postion of the bar. (gave me an idea) now i finshed up the installation of the xbrace using some bolts and washers, and proceeded to investigate further into these holes. now the bar would fit perfect into this postion so i tapped the holes (because they have never been used and were all gunked up) and took a drive to check out the brace. it was awesome what an improvement. and when i got back . i installed the stock bar right behind the xbrace. and took another spin. and wow i noticed more improvement.
i guess the intersting thing in this all is that i never knew that these holes were here and also that ive never heard of anyone doing this (the re-installation of the stock bar behind the xbrace) i will have pics tommorow when the owner of the shop emails them to me.
