i came across this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2436391436 and i wanted to know is there a cheaper way to go about this than what this guy is charging....i know the bulbs for my brakelights are like a dollar.....how much would these bulbs be if i bought it in a store instead of from ebay?...and what are the wattage, size, type of bulbs i need for each fixture?
those lights looked good. Um i would say that those bulbs are probably 2$ at the most. to find the wattage pop off the covers and look at the bulbs, your gonna have to do that to replace them anyway
If you really like that look (which by the way would make it look like the car had flouresant lights, not "xenon"), then go to autozone and buy anything the right size thats blue.

you can also buy any of those windshield washer lights type 12v led bulbs... and wire them in.... get superwhite leds.... i think they look the best and will last forever... just mount it behing the plastic pointing down..... alse fade if you have the theater lighting...
I myself sell interior bulbs (you would not believe how many ricers are on eBay). I sell LED festoon bulbs (see pic below). I can tell you, as someone who resells for a profit, he probably paid around $15 USD for all of those, and is selling them for double (pretty much what I do).

It would make the interior of the car awfully white and flouresent looking.
Bright white lights can make interiors a lot brighter, easier to read maps and other stuff. Depends on the car tho, some stock bulbs are pretty good, and since I don't have experience with BMWs (yet), I can't really say if the stock lighting sucks.
I can say that the stock lighting sucks in cars like Civics, Cavys, etc.

the reason i wouldnt change it is because the stock lighting is really easy on the eyes at night and you cant see it that great from the outside. but if u put in some of these superwhite things you car will be like a lighthouse
If I were to change the light, I would change them to a soft amber/ orange hue. Then again, I have a tan interior, so that would look ok in mine, but im not sure about some other colors.

why change your interior lights for? it's not like anyone is going to check out the inside. it will also make your bmw look to ricey. you should of got a rice rocket instead. people who put that neon crap or under glow on there bmw's give bmw drivers a bad name.
