Anyone know where to get a good wood or aluminim interior trim kit?
I've been searching but ebay seems to be the only place to sell them and I don't know about ebay.
I mainly need to replace my chipped away front door speakers trim.
Here is what I need to replace. This plactic trim ring that frames the door speakers. I've only seen them in kits. Autowerks used to sell chrome replacements but they've sold out or something.
To do list:
Suspension--- researching
UUC System U TDM- 3/05
M50 manifold converstion 3/05
off to the tuning shop for custom software 4/05
Cams/lightened flywheel, throttlebody........ well lets see what happens

Any advice?
Actually that picture was taken the day I bought the car. Now that ring is all chipped away!
That would be my advice too...I was shocked to find that for parts like small items of trim that the dealerships (with Parts dept) are actually the cheapest
I think I paid $1.26 for an item I was sure they would charge me 4 or 5 times that and a leather gear stick (manual) was only $10.50 and I thought that was great value too!
I have seen those speaker surrounds in chrome and they look lovely if you have some chrome in the car already...not too expensive either
around near me, they have personal owned audio stores that have a book that u can order sets or just pieces... u should see if u have any kind of stores like that around u....

Hey I went to my Manhattan dealer today and the guy checked the computer and told me I'll need to buy the whole speaker set because the rings come with the speakers. The speakers were actually cheaper than I thought....$36 each but I think BMW would charge me like $100 to install them .
