The corner of my glove box is prying off. I look in there and can see that there was some glue once, but im not sure if it was made that way or the previous owner tried to fix it. Is there a magical glue I should use to fix it, or not glue at all and some thing different?

My car is black on black and it get intensely, intensely hot in there, so it has to be able to withstand the heat (elmers obviously wouldnt work) And in advance, thanks.
