Interior Lighting... oh my hat!

Hi All,
Yet again, I have issues.
It seems the temp display in my car has given up the ghost... but it didnt. As it turned out, when I look at it from different angles, I can actually see the current temp. This happened very suddenly and coincided with the lighting on all the other knobs and buttons on the centre console failing at the same time.
Ive checked fuses and dont have a clue what to look for next. Anyone have any ideas?

Is this all connected to the main headlight switch? If so, maybe there is an issue with that "activation" connection? Was the stereo installed recently?

Yes, the main headlight switch DOES turn the interior lighting on (I think?). I believe the window switches work as long as eiter the key is in the ignition or a door is open... or something like that.

The stereo was installed when I first bought the car. The deck definately has not affected anything on the car. It is an entirely isolated install and does not interact with ANY vehicular systems.

Check if there is a relay that is activated by the head light switch for these control lights, if the fuse is good, it might be something with the activation/earth line?

Dude, if you have ANY idea where I could BEGIN to look for a relay that would even give me SOME hope... Ill flipping eat my hat, chew my arm off (only if I can find a good bottle of Habanero Sauce ), feed my pitbull to my chihuahua AND Ill lick my own ar$3h013!
