'94 318is--the interior light above rearview mirror flickers from time to time--I know it is supposed to go on when doors open--is there anything in the door that I can fix manually to prevent this from happening--other than turning the light off competely?
Ha, I see we share the same electrical gremlin. Enjoy. Mine only occurs when it's cold and ussually breaking hard or accelerating hard. I think it's the switch in the door acting up but I don't really feel like replacing it.
I just switch the light off. Good luck, and remember not to get the gremlins wet.

ghead well, I had the same problem for about 3 years. i lived with it.....until it got real bad! my engine light started to flicker in sync with the interior and now the dash lights.
turns out i had a bad voltage regulator. sucks because the alternator i had was a valeo and there built in so you know what that means!! one alternator lator, everthing works perfect( i put it in myself and saved around 100 bucks!!
