Well i've spent the last 45 minutes searching on several BMW websites as well as here, but have come up with nothing. My basic question is this....
Could i fit a stock muffler from a 6 Cylinder to my 318 sedan? Would the overall size fit? I have already ordered the rear valance from Bavauto to fit dual exhaust tips, so that won't be an issue.
Thanks for the quick responses....Quick off topic though....BIG RED did you get a new ride? Diggin the white sedan!
Now, as to why i want a 6 cylinder muffler is purely for aesthetic reasons. I Just like the way it looks compared to the single piped 318 muffler. I've currently been running a Borla exhaust.....Yes i said it. B-O-R-L-A. Clearly not the smartest upgrade, if even that. I was desperate and couldn't afford anything "name brand" so to speak. But the sound really doesn't differ from that of a UUC or Tri Flow system. As for performance....that's a different story.
Didn't make sense at all. Borla isn't that bad, not my style, but not that bad. I know what you mena, the single pea shooter out of the 318 makes me sick

Yeah i didn't think it did. I read it over and over, but that's the best i could word it....... I'll see if i can post pics of the BORLA. I must admit it looks really good. The shop that did it for me went all OUT. I just wanna tone it down a bit....
so you want to get rid of the Borla? hmmm...interesting predicament considering I have a 318i as well...haha
hit me up if you want to see about getting rid of it...
