Intake louder in cold weather

The temps are dropping up here in NY, and I have noticed that my CAI (cosmos) is quite a bit louder than it was a few months ago. There are no leaks or anything - it is just louder! Anyone with similar situation or am I losing my mind?

I think I'll put the stock intake box back in for the winter. Need to get a drop-in K&N first, of course.

it's louder because colder air is much denser than warm air. More air = more noise.

he is right its cause its cold out, either that or you can't tell what an exhaust leak sounds like.

No exhaust leaks, it is the intake fo sho.
