It can change with age, place you live, convertible i am sure(people cutting top), male or female, driving record, grades(i had a good grade discount in high school and college), and lots of other factors. The best thing to do if before you buy the car car your current insurance company or look into a company if you don;t have one and ask them. My insurance(State Farm) is always more than happy to tell me an estimate for the car before we buy it.

26, no accidents, no speeding tickets, $1200 / year for comp/collision.

Most (if not all) insurance carriers offer discounts for things like ABS, airbags, etc...

If you carry multiple policies with them, you can get a pretty substantial discount, too. (Like renter's insurance - $10 / month, but lowers the car insurance premium by ~$20.)

I'm 21, college student, 1 accident my fault, 2 with zero fault, 3 speeding tickets still on my record but nothing more then 15 over, full coverage with glass on my 1996 328is is $770 every 6 months. It would be more like $900 every 6 months but my insurance is still under my parents account with about 5 other vehicles, yet in my name. Then since I'm such a good student State Farm Insurance Company give me a good student discount of about $120 every 6 months for mantaining a B GPA. Gotta love that. So I wind up paying about $110 a month or about $1300 a year.

Insurance is always based on where you live and the statistics for accidents in that particular area. Also how much you drive. I have a 93 325i and only carry Liability. It is the same as a Honda Accord. However Comp is outragous.

2004 Oddessy - Full Coverage
2002 Accord - Full Coverage
1993 BMW 325i. - Liability only

$2600 per year. No tickets or wrecks. Married with 2 teenagers (16 & 18) on policy. I add my son next year and it will double just for him. Guys are much more expensive.
