hey i just bought a pair of sidemarker lights from a really cool guy today. the only problem is i dont know how to install it because there are no prucut holes on my fenders and no wiring. so what i need is the measurements of where to install the light and how big the holes must be etc

I wonder if the fenders are pre-wired for them? It would be nice if they were, you could probably stick them where ever you want. I wish mine were about 6" higher up then they are.

I'm swamped at work, I'm getting audited by Siemens tomorrow. If know one gives you cut-out dimensions, I could measure on my car this weekend.

Did you get clear/smoked/orange markers?

take the old ones, slide it towards the front, and you should be able to take it right out.

Then, just connect the wiring to the new sidemarkers, put it in, and slide it towards the back to lock it in place.

For cars not originally equipped, you have to drill through the fender and into the engine bay, then tap the turn signal and parking light wire.

Seriously though, I can't recall the backside of the sidemarker, but if I remember correctly there are small tabs and one large sliding tab. You can find a way to make a hole that size (myself always being one with limited resrouces would use a dremel), or use a drill with a bit large enough to fit the bulb through and a grommet to help seal and secure it. Then drill another hole for a screw to help secure it.
