Anyone here live in or know of a reliable place in New Jersey that will do Inspection 1 on my car? Or does anyone know how I can find one?

I e-mailed them and the inspection 1 cost at one of them in NJ is $358.40 at the closest bmw dealar. Is this normal ... the other dealer estimated well over $400

In the car manual you can read what exactly has to be done for inspection1 service. It is not much labour at all.

Yes, but I am mechanically stupid. I know how to jack the car up with the jack in the trunk, but they say don't under the car using that. So basically I have no idea how to get the under the car otherwise.

sure...i got mine at Walmart...and I'm not gonna say the thought NEVER enters my mind while I'm laying underneath...but being crushed would probably still feel better than bending over and letting BMW have their way with me...

ive used thos ramps.

Crappy (like to skid while driving up). Once your on though, they're fine.
