input on buying a 328

Found this car at a local dealer. I was thinking of purchasing it for my wife but would like some opinions first. It's a 1996 328i. Auto, sunroof, with 130k miles. Some sort of sideskirts on it also, and ugly wheels. Their looking for something in the middle 5k range. Deal or No Deal? Thanks in advance.

i just sold my 323is with 87k for 6500... im sure u can do better... or u can just base it on that

IF they will let you take it to a mechanic for an inspection (I'm assuming this is a used car lot).. that's not bad if there's some kinda warranty or if they'll knock down the price if anything needs to be replaced.

thanks guys. i'll see if he lets me take it to a mechanic. I doubt it tho, you know how shady those used lot guys are. Theirs no warranty. Something like $250 for 3 months. Car appears and runs to be in good condition. I called him today and he said he'll do 5k even but i'm still undecided.
