Depending on ur price range the best low end im talkin under 300 dllar range is getting some performance software from probably turner at turnermotorsports.com and a cold air intake , also an exhaust it may sound cool but for 600 bucks not the best money conscious mod
A chip and intake were up there, exhaust is kinda pricy and a big job.. Maybe i'll put that aside for a rainy day.
Looking around on E-Bay I can do all that for under $100, do you think the price of the cold air intake matters, and do you have any suggestions for which chip to get (and how to install it)?
there are like these chips on ebay for 20 bux, just incase u were thinking about it, lol dont, all they do is jack up ur fuel:air ratio and give u horrible mpg and a ton of other crap
if u think prices are high, welcom to the world of bmws =), just make sure and ask before jumping into a product cuz here we have lots of edumacated peoplez who can help ya out
I can't believe some of you people and your so called "debaffling"...you make me vomit, you own a BMW so get a decent CAI. I don't care what anyone says, debaffling will do absolutley nothing for you. You're lucky to get 4 or 5 to the wheels with a decent CAI AND software/chip to support it.
Along with every things said above I would go with:
Power:
Fan Delete
Underdrive Pulleys
LTW Flywheel
Injectors
Headers
Track Pipe
Larger Throttle Body
3.5 HFM
You could also go the forced induction route
Suspension:
Sport Shocks and Struts
Lowering Springs
Sway Bars with new bushings
Front Strut Bar
Larger Wheels and Tires
(I have the UUC Sachs Stage 4 Plus Suspension and it's AWESOME!!!)
Brakes:
Big Brake Kit
SS Brake Lines

I heard about that, two questions though; 1) What exactly is it? and 2) How would I go about doing it?
