can anyone help. i went to start my car as usual but nothing happened.
the key turned and the lights went out (not a flat battery) and let go and the lights came back on. i know it's not a stuck starter motor as it makes no noise. i've ordered a new immobilser ring to hopefully solve the problem. any suggestions?
also under my dash near feet (rhd drive car) there is some sort of plug?! when taking apart the car there are two separate plugs on the back of it. what is this plug for. thanks people. look forward to reading some replies. john.
whilst trying to fix my immobiliser problem i checked the fuses, this isn't a problem as they are labelled up. relays however are different. is there a link that shows what they all do ?
Dudehog,
Check out the bently manual for info on the relays and what they do, even where they're located year to year. The download at the beginning of the forum is a good pdf of the manual if you have adobe reader. Good luck.
