did you guys just get the k&n filter or a tube with it also? i just have the intake filter and it is loud, cant hear it much over my exhaust though...if they have a tube i want it because i am sure it is cheaper than some of the higher priced brands(not that there is anything wrong with those brands)

on my car the cone aif filter replaces the old air box, goes stright on the air flow meter and there is a hose from the bottom grill to the filter so the faster u go the more and cooler the air gets blowen onto the filter lol.
Does anyone have any good URLs for a HowTo on this? It looks like a real good thing. I'm not a mechanic at all, but I can follow instructions, so a HowTo with some pics would be real helpful...
Did you take any pictures of while you were doing this? I would like to see how you manuvered everything around to get the new filter to fit. Because i would like to do this but i have no imagination, and i dont see any room for it to fit
I've got one for a wile(Open air intake) now every time it rains the car start to shake and chock till I put a divider in so the water don't splash from the bottom cause the euro cars can't suck up any water. If you got a VANO 95+ you got to watch out for this when you get water in the engine the shit will freeze the you mite then conceder swap the M3 engine.
