Idling Problem

Hello, yesterday while driving the intake boot came off the throttle, no big deal I reattached, then when I got home I started looking at the vacuum hoses, the one that is attached to the intake boot that goes to the the ICV, I gave a small tug to try and get it off the and ICV came loose from the manifold. I took all the throttle out, and attached the ICV back, reattached everything and the hose from the ICV to the boot has a rip around the top, he car will start idle up, then to 500 then even out at 850 or so, this is with the boot/icv hose off, when i attach the same hose mentioned the car shuts off? WTF is going on

You probably need to replace your ICV now. Check your hoses for rips or tears. If the hoses just "pull off" then you should replace them.
