| Idle/Running Problem
Ok so I have a '95 325is and recently I noticed a problem in the idle. When the car is just sitting there idling, with no loads on or anything, it will all of a sudden drop to low RPM's like maybe 4-5 hundred. Once it does that, the car rebounds itself and revs it back up. Sometimes although, it will actually go so low that it dies. During idle it is always at synchronized times when the idle drops, about every 25 seconds. When it happens the check engine light flashes quick and then goes out, and im not sure that if i scanned it that it would show the code seeing as it doesnt stay on. Even when im driving, the engine drops rpms, throws the light on quick and then goes out.
Hopefully someone here may have some input as to what it may be. I was thinkin about cleaning or replacing the Idle Control Valve but from the posts ive read the symptoms dont seem to fit my headache.
