I've been having idle problems so I figured I would start at the ICV. I want to clean it out but I can only find pictures of where it is on the M42. I have an M50 and I can't figure out where it is. Can someone help me find it

look for vacum leaks and check your codes for an O2 sensor failure. I had idle problems and it turned out I had both problems. Sorry I don't know where the ICV is but I didn't have to replace mine luckily.

I did the pedal trick just 1444 (everything okay) so I don't think its an O2 sensor

using a flashlight, you can just barely see it under under the intake manifold, it should be a silver (aluminum color) canister about half the size of a spray paint can.

Found it and cleaned it. Not an easy job to do and very time comsuming. I'll have to get back to you with the results though because I still have some other things I have to do to my car to get it running right (hopefully)

Getting the hose clamps off were really hard for me. I don't think mine were the original clamps because they were 1/4" and not metric
