Can anyone explain how the idle control valve works on a 94 325i? I took the car in because i has been idiling rough and they told me that this was the problem. I was told the parts are $150, how hard is it to replace this?
Theres a link in the Forum FAQ for cleaning your ICV..i want to try it myself, but the FAQ for was a different engine, same idea should work tho if you want to save some $$.
what type of idling trouble you experiencing? it could be a whole buncha shit cus i changed my ICV also and had it done. cost me bout 250 and it turned out not to be the problem.
