ghead My gong warning sound doesn't seem to work. Any of you now where the speaker is located maybe a wire has come loose.

The speaker is located under the stearing column. The round thing in the knee bolster is the speaker and there are two plugs that go into it.

i dont have a E36, but is there a chance that that's one of those things that can be activated/deactivated by the memo button

the ice is always on, regardless of memo.

well aside from the fact that you dont want your car to have imperfections i dont honestly think it is important to have it sound off. the system basically tells you it is cold enough for ice to form on the roads not that there actually is ice on the road. common sense and weather reports make the ice warning gong unnecessary

i can't tell without the gong.....even if there is 8 feet of snow. i say keep it. :lol:
