for your year & model, the IAT is located on the underside of the intake manifold, right by the throttle body.
Since it is upside down it is hard to pull out. Something is catching it on the dge. How do you remove it? Is it supposed to be loose? I'd like to put some sealant to make it tight and seal it from vacuum leak.
thanks man i'll check that out tomorrow, it's time for to go to bed (work in the morning) .....................rock n roll!!!!!!
It's under the intake manifold somewher nea the center near the throttle body. You'll have to remove the throttle body since it is in the way. Once removed you can see it thru the intake manifod round hole. It is upside down. Unplug it by pushing in the spring wire lock while pulling the plug down with the other hand. I'm trying to remove it right now but couldn't pull it out. Even if I twist while pull ing it down it won't come out. Something is catching it on the edge. I don't want to force and break it. I just want to remove it and put some sealant to keep it tight and prevent vacuum leak. Need some help here. Thank you.
