i need to make my car go faster.. i have a mate with a golf v6 4motion and everyone thinks its the fastest thing ever for some reason, it pulls constantly through the rev range, but mine has more pull when it gets going.. he keeps askin me for a race, but i keep gettin out of it some how! i want to know i'll beat him before racing, or i'll never hear the end of it! i hear the m50 manifold makes a bit of difference, but how much? i'm fitting a 3.23 lsd in at the weekend to help my pull away and just need some more grunt.. any help would be much appreciated!
exactly. it is a little known fact that simply hauling the bottle around with you actually boosts power by up to 30%. :wink:

he he i think he might get a bit pissed if i put sugar in his tank! i was thinkin more along the lines of an m50 manifold, CAI and maybe a chip or something..

yea.. who cares really.. at the end of the race he is still in a golf.. haha. Seriously tho a race is dependant upon the driver.. I used to eat up integras and eclipses in my 89 CRX DX (not SI) 90hp-cuz i knew how to drive the piss out of it. I used to pound the hell out of that thing and she would just keep going...

yeah i know it doesn't matter, but he'll go about telling everyone that his car is faster.. i like my car a whole lot more, but you guys know what i mean right!
Get a performance chip, reduce your weight, think about a possible cold air intake system, etc. Its all about perforamnce parts and how much money you're willing to spend.
yeah take all the shit u dont need out when your racing like spare tire and all the other equipment then race only with a quarter full tank of gas, and get CAI and maybe a chip. that should make a diff.
the awd will slow him down after 60mph... it also has 200 hp... if you do it from a roll, then you might have a chance.. but from a light.. YOUR DEAD! lol sorry
