OK guys .......quick story for you and then I need some answers.......I ordered a set od ADR Cyphers 6 weeks ago.....waited three weeks before I heard anything about them ......Then when I went to pick them up ......They sent the adr M sports ......Turns out that the cyphers were on 2 month back order...But adr neglected to tell me anything about it until after we packed up the M sports and sent them back ........So they said I could have the M sports for the same price.......Being as impatient as I am I slept on it and decided that I like the M sports in Hyper black.......So I wait and wait and wait .....Finally, the rims came yesterday ......I love em .......problem is ....My original order was for 18X8.5 rear and 18x7.5 front ..........do ya think thats what they sent........nooooooooo I open the box and im starin at a set of 18x9.5 for the rear ....and 18x8.5 in the front.....
Like I said before.....IM IMPATIENT.......and I want to fit the set to my car ....besides ...Im in love with the lip......
In an other post I saw that 8.5 with 245 tires was the widest you could go without rolling the fenders ....Mine are already partially rolled, and I have a drop with Eibach pro springs with bilsteins.
Soooo.....I guess the question is .....what would it take to fit these rims on my 92 E36 ....I was thinking of going with 255 in the rear and 235 front.......or should I stay with 245 rear and 225 front???
......Ok so Read ....and Discuss....... Oh BTW im gunna try to fit these tommorow morning so speedy awnsers are key to my little situation......Thanks again boyz Ill keep checkin for answers.
Oh yeah .........also ....If i fit the 9.5s in the rear with 255 tires how bad will it rub and will i be able to drive the car just for the weekend till I can get the car to the bodt shop to have the fenders rolled on monday???
If you don't have much suspension travel and dont have to make any turns more than around 45 degrees, then you should ab able to drive it. It would be best to wait and get them rolled first. I also say go with whatever tire you can afford thats better. With enough rolling the 235/255s will fit if you really want.

I'll be there August 10-12, and then offically move September 4. I can't wait to live in an area where I can order a REAL pizza again. These southerners just can't do it right.

Dont forget the Bagels and Heros and those great egg sandwiches .......Ive lived three other places besides LI and 2I missed the food the most! BTW....Im gunna have him try to fit the 255's Thanx ......Ill post some pics as soon as I get a chance .....Im so excited ....ive had the car since november and had two different rims since I bought it ....finally I can hold my head high
I just put on 18's with Nitto Extreme ZR 225/40/18 (8.0 width)...man it is a tight fit...I'm not sure if I would wanna go wider due to the fact that any wider and the tires will look funny sticking out the sides. M3's can go wider because of the flared body.
LI with the best pizza, never had. But if you get the chance try Jersey ... you don't get much better pizza or italian food for that matter.

OK ....alittle update for ya......Went to the bodyshop today and got my fenders rolled....but still mad rubbing!!!!! The shory trip home was spent cringing at the wretched sound.. so I stopped at pep boys and picked up some spring helpers and slapped them in between the coils.....now I can drive it till I get another pair of 8.5s. If I take a turn at over 45 it rubs alittle....for now its acceptable. But it looks soooooo good
Ill get them up as soon as I get some batteries for my camera......Its no different cosmetically though......but ill post a pic of the fenders and ill take a shot of the spring blocks..........essentially, I lifted the rear alittle ....but it still looks really good .....and no rubbing
