Azenis' are pretty cheap pricewise... I'd guess around $120-140 each.

They're supposed to be quite crappy in the rain. That's their downfall. And you also get about 10k on them if you're lucky. But damn everyone at the auto-x loves them.

What size of tire, P235 50 16, P245 40 17, P255 35 18?

Do you notice a difference in braking as well as acceleration and handling?

Do tell...

grippy- very

wet - this is so cal who gives two shits

price- 580 for the set

braking - much much better

accelleration - same, just a 325 after all...

handling - sidewalls are very very very very stiff... turn in is crisp as hell. Love them for that. The car changes direction very very fast without even so much as a chirp. Good god are they good.

As Kevin mentioned already, they are great tires for track/auto-x. However, tire tread is very poor like most high performance tires (look at the RA1).

If you don't track/auto-x your car, I'd say the tires are wasted. You're better off buying something with a better tread rating for the street. My racing buddies use these up in just under 1 season, ouch!

I thought the STi came with some Bridgestone Potenza S0-3s just like about every high performance car.

Yep, that's what they come with here in Ontario too. Never seen Falkens on any stock car from the dealership. I have used them before. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't do any track driving and I really did waste them. Ate them up on the street in 1.5 seasons. Great tires nonetheless.
