OK. Here it is, any help appreciated.
When I started the car up today, it had it's wheel turned the whole way right...
I...stupidly and out of habbit, jerked the wheel slightly right (not a hard pull, just a "tug"). I immediately recognized my mistake and stopped, but I still heard a small *CRACK* at about the same time, as if I had run over a small branch. I cringed to think that I had busted something.
Upon fully backing out...there was no branch.
Hoping for the best...I drove off, took the highway into town and while I was crusing through a small street with my windows open...I could heard a weird squeek coming out of my car, sounded much like squeaky breaks, but I wasn't braking. I would notice it everytime as I would let it coast at low speeds. It was definitely a new noise. Seemed to come more from the driver side front...though basically from the front of the car.
So that's it. I'll bring it to the mechanic tomorow if I can...but I really hope it ain't nothing major. God that would suck.
Diagnostic anyone? Apart from me being an idiot. thanks.
