How To Reset Oil Service Lights

I have a 1994 325ic and want to ask if I need a device to reset the oil service lights or whether it can be done manually. Thanks!

Take the cover off the scaner conector on your car, use a flash light or a drop light (what ever works better)locate 7 and 19 end conectors, use a paper clip to conect them for about 5-7 seconds. that is all you have to do. I hve doni it a couple of times and it works really good.
