3-Series (E36)Chat relating to the BMW 3-Series from 1992-1999. Autodoodad
Specific models include: BMW 316i, BMW 318i, BMW 318iS/ti, BMW 320, BMW 323, BMW 320, BMW 324, BMW 325, BMW 328.
I'd like to remove the BMW logo discs from the exterior of my '96 328i, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for a method of getting these off without damaging the paint underneath.
As for "why?", I just feel like a bit of a tool driving around with a corporation's logo emblazoned all over my vehicle.
are you talking about your hood, or trunk, or rim emblems???

oh and if you take the badge off peel it off with a knife and use a terry cloth underneath so the paint won't scratch...the badge should pop out...its not glued in but pegged in. two lateral pegs under the B and the W.
I used to think like you guys do about the issue until I turned off my TV, put down the corporate owned magazine/newspaper/webnews page, and did my own research into the global state of affairs in terms of Human Rights.
I've been very careful to check up on the sources of any supposed fact that I've read, and I've been very surprised by what arguments that I've found which as of yet I've been unable to find valid counterexamples or counterarguments to.
It's a worthwhile experience, stepping outside of the bubble of assumptions that one lives in, questioning and researching the scientific validity of these assumptions.
