how much should i lower my 318is

i just got 17'' rims on my 95 318is and i was wondering how much i should lower my car... my friend gave me springs but theyre 2.7'' in the front and 1.9'' in the back i think thats way to much what do u guys recommend?

that is quite a lot your gonna be pretty unhappy with the ride but very happy with the look , that is if they fit what size are the tires you have on the rims? you may have to roll fenders if the rubber is a bit too wide or you will rub a whole lot.

ride will be a bit harsh like i said with a drop that low, but your performance and looks will be amazing.

my wheels are 225/45r17 i think those springs are way to big im probably gonna have to lower it only like 1.5 inch

I run 19" rims and mine is lowered 15mm in the front, 30mm at the back.
