Question how much is the new key for e36 in dealer?

too bad, i lost my last key of my car today..damn, i should copy one for spare..

I paid $30 plus tax for my key (not the lighted version). It should not cost much more than that. You will need your registration and or title and a form of ID. I think it takes about a week for them to get you a key. I will get myself a new one this week. I have two already, but one can never be too safe.

It all depends on which key you get. My $30 key has no buttons or anything else on it. $55 sounds high for an e36 key. That sucks.

i paid 32.50 for mine with tax and had it the next day. then they spent the next month and a half trying to figure out why it wasnt the right key. they still dont know. the local dealership is full of retards
