I know you can get larger 17 and 18 inch wheels at less than 1 Lb per inch, but what do your tires and wheels weigh combined?

On my '92 325i, these wheels weigh 40 lbs with stock sized 215 60 15 Summer Kumhos. I think that is on the heavy side, but I have nothing to compare them too.

My stock 15" weigh 40 lbs. They've got 215/60/15s.

Stock size is 205/60/15.

I have no idea how much my tires weigh. However, my rims weigh about 19-20lbs. Stupid heavy Euro rims.

well... if 17s weigh around 20 lbs, and 15s are alot smaller, there might be a chance w/o tires

This is not much...... Further than 15 to 17 lbs you can't go, or you should get some F1 wheels!

bavauto used to sell (still might) magnesium wheels. THEY WERE CRAZY EXPENSIVE! 18s for something like 4k, but only weighed around 9 pounds.

Enkei makes a forged magnesium. 18" like 7lbs, they're insane.

My 40lbs is rims and tires. I'm looking into some Kosei Racing 17" that weigh 16lbs a pop. But I don't got money. The next 800 bucks I get is going into suspension.
