How much did it cost you to get your car painted?? - BMW Forum

well, I've got a body shop I've always went to for autobody repair/painting, and They do above dealer quality work.. Now my 325 isn't in bad condition, but there are some problems near the bottom rear corner of the front fenders where rust tends to start and I want to just get the entire car repainted...hands down.. I know some of you repainted your cars, or more or less had them repainted. I wanted to ask you what you had to fork out for a same color paint job on the car, and if they sanded it down a bit or was it just for the spray... thanks...

I did all the bodyworks myself (sanded car for a couple months till it was wet sanded) so the body shop took off loads of $$ and the paint job turned out better than the factory. But around $1000ish-ness, it cost me.

man i need a paint job bad. i just got my car 2 weeks ago, 328iS bright f* red. i guess im a big target for the police

i just want to know how much a really sick silver or a really nice black would be.

well I plan on getting the M3 rear bumper I have put on and the m3 side skirts, so I will need to get those painted.. Might as well get the car repainted to fix any blemishes and make sure that all the parts match up good... it's just a matter of what other people paid so I have a decent estimate...

same color, but i'm not really sure I want to spend a few grand getting it all repainted. It's not really a huge deal, seeing I already have a vr4 and hopefully i will only have this bmw as my daily driver for 2 more years.. Then maybe i'll be able to buy my moms E500 off her.
