How much brake fluid is needed to flush the brakes in an e36?

I just flushed mine ('93 325i) and it took less than a liter BUT I used a pressure brake bleeder and filled it with two liters just to make sure that I didn't introduce air into the system.

So technically, less than a liter will flush your system.
