Just curious to see what people usually get on one tank of gas. Mine is usually right around 330miles per tank. However I had to go to pullman and a couple of other places this week which was all highway driving and got 390 miles on one tank.
if I go highway, I get around 380 - 400 miles, If I go city, probably just like you around 330 - 350 miles, also depends on if I accelerate a lot or not.

okay my next question is when do you refuel do you let it go below 1/4 of a tank, i always refuel right when it gets to 1/4 of a tank left. i think im going to add some fuel injector cleaner too and see if that helps me at all
my Dads best friend works for the Alaska pipline (%70 of the fuel we burn on the west coast) and le me tell you a little secret,
-Shell
-BP
-76
-Arco
-Chevron
-Texaco
-and anyone else you can think of, USE THE SAME GAS.
ITS ALL THE SAME. The only thing different is when you select your gas if you use 87-89-92, is going to be the last deciding factor in the way your car runs.
You will never see this advertised, published and so on, but this is the truth. Cheap gas?
is that cheaper pumpming stations, NOT QUALITY, its all the same.
Each company fills up the trucks in the morning withth e same gas at the same place every morning in Bellingham, Wa that supplies most of the West coast. I f you live in the East, its the same process!
Only difference is small trace elements (top secret) additives that they add before it actualy hits your local gas pump so they can call it there own.

oh yeah 30-35 MPG is what our car gets with mostly highway driving here in Hawaii.
I ALWAYS use 92 octane, sometimes a little STP additive to clean the injectors. (burns a little hotter too)

yeah i usually get around 230 miles to the 1/4 of a tank, and ill rail on her a few times, but then i will also shift around 3300 or so most of the other times... should i be shifting before that for better gas mileage?
i wish i could get into the 300 mile range that would be INSANE!
also obien why do you bring up bellingham washington? ididnt get that part. that is where i live. and welcome to the forums

i suffer from a contition called "LEAD FOOT" (a.k.a. the "need for speed")
and i get at least 250miles per tank....350+ on the freeway at 90ish.
my girl takes good care of me, feeds me well too, but i get still pretty good mileage.

i drive a 325
not the 318 anymore, and get around 230 to the 1/4 of a tank... i really need to figure this out, becuase i would love to get better gas mileage! haha my driving is split about 60-40 between highway/city 60 being city. i usually average around 20 mpg on my OBC during any tank of gas.... and that is with shifting around 3300 excpet for the times i get on it to go somewhere or to race someone..

Make sure you put some good one in it. What really helped me is that I put some fuel injector cleaner, drove until tank was empty, refilled car with gas, drove until gas was emptied, then I put some product in gas tank called "guaranted to pass" works even better than fuel injector cleaner.

Even if I drive semi hard about 4000 rpm and up I still get over 400miles on a full tank. Will it be better now because I used 92 octane gas instead of my usual 89 just to see the difference?
