How many miles before computer reset

I have just reset the computer with the peake tool to get rid of a check engine light. How many miles do I need to drive it before the computer will allow an inspection to take place?

I'm quite sure an inspection and computer reset can be done at any time or mileage.

Sorry, not sure if i phrased it right or not. After you reset the computer you must drive x miles before you are allowed to take it in for inspection. The computers at the inspection places can tell if it has been reset or if the battery was discoonected within a certain number of miles. I think 50 or 100. I was just wondering if anyone knew. Additionall are there a certain number of times the car must be started?
