How long has everyone been driving BMW's? Just curious about this. I got my first bimmer when I was 16... I saved up half a years pay to buy myself a 1978 530i, this thing was a tank but I loved it! Even though it was breaking down every week, that car was the Shit in my opinion. After the engine died in that I got a deal on an '89 325i and instantly fell in love, from that point on I knew I would never drive anything else other than a BMW. Having and being attatched to my baby for 2 years, my brother had to get drunk and take my car out for a joyride and total it in before he got out of my neighborhood. Needless to say I was pissed off about that, and I had to drive the car for a year even though the body was totalled, everything worked mechanically and all. I finally got a solid $2000 from my brother 3 months ago and spent 3 weeks trying to get a loan for my '95 325is that I have now.

If I say something stupid, it's probably cause I'm ripped
Driving nothing but BMWs ... I got my first car about 2 years ago and it was a 84' 528e that I bought for 300 bucks, my dad and I fixed to get it running for a couple more hundred bucks and I drove it for a year and a half before getting my car I have now.
A year and a half...my 96 Integra got stolen off my college campus and recovered as totalled. My dad said find a car for about $10-12k. Found my 96 318i for 12 with only 40k miles on it and the rest is history. I don't plan on going back to anything other than a BMW. I took a ride in my boy's 2001 330ci and he punched it in 3rd gear and pinned me in my seat. That was with the stock 225hp. One of the most amazing feelings ever. I can only imagine what an ///M3 will feel like.
Bimmers all the way

I bought my first BMW a 1994 325is in 1997. It got stolen a year later and decided not to have a car for a while. It's a real hassle owning a vehicle in New York City. The amount's of money New Yorker's pay for car insurance can buy u a good new car in say 3 years. Well, I couldn't stay away from BMW's long and recently just purchased a 2001 330ci with only 25k miles on it. Got it for a great price. Yesterday made a month anniversary since I had my new baby. Rides like a dream.
I bought mine on eBay 9 months ago for about $9k. I had to fix a crapload of stuff on it, but at least now it drives. Even though it now has a vibration, it is the smoothest car I've ever driven - I can't explain, just the feel of a BMW it's beautiful
