Little help required please guys,

I have a 1999 325 that has started whistling when I start the engine, then stops after about a minute.

Its definately a bearing going on something, I just dont know what. What runs for a minute or so? Doesnt happen when the engine is warm though

im pretty sure that they were still in production in 99 solo... so he may be right...

sounds like you might have a vaccum leak... see if you can pin point the sound in the engine bay, it could also be a fan clutch going bad maybe?? depending on how quick you are to drive it in that one minute... haha
