How to figure out the wiring on m3 mirrors?

Hi i bought these m3 mirrors on ebay to fit my bmw 98 model 323i, they have been fitted on but the wiring is tripping me out, i cant seem to figure out how to wire them up, there is 3 wires on them but on my old standard e36 mirrors thier are 4, does anyone know the problem?, thanks.

are the colors for the 3 wire and 4 wire the same? what is the color of the missing wire?

man these lights are so annoying,

the m3 mirrors have black white and blue

standard is black white blue and brown

brown is the ground wire... you may have to find a good ground in the mirror mechanism...(perhaps you might find a screw or terminal where the brown wire should go to

no, but it looks like you have to make the ground wire yourself.

Actually take a look at your old mirrors and see where the brown wire goes.. follow that pattern and you'll be alright ;-)
