Hi everybody.
Yesterday i changed the battery of mi 318 bmw and i can't enter the code for the radio. In the manual it says that I should see "----" under the sign CODE on the display, but it's not like that. The display shows only the word CODE and when I try to enter any digits it just makes a BEEP sound and nothing happens. So i made a picture of the condition of my radio and I will be very happy if someone can help me to get to the point of entering the code.
Thanx in advance.
i had this problem, listen, leave the key in the car turn on the electrical and leave for 40 min (engine not on, only so u can have electricity running) then itll reset ur radio, then enter ur code UNDER THE SIGN CODE the #'s will not show up when u enter it, when u enter the code correctly then ur radio will turn on, good luck.

yeah I remember when I first got my car and the code hadn't been put in, was a pain. I did it the same way as what has been said, but I think I waited just over an hr to be safe.
