I have a 318ti 1996, and i'm trying to take the center console apart because it's dirty and i messed it up while trying to take it out. There's these two screws that won't come loose that are on top of a flat black circle thing. I've taken it out before, but ti seems not to come out this time... ghead

I can't visualize what you're talking about. And I posted this same question a few weeks ago in this forum and NO ONE helped me so I figured it out on my own

Pry open the "hazard light" button and under there there is a secret center screw, like a key stone, that unlock the entire thing from the armrest part to the plastic covering under your shift stick. -ohh!!! my car is an automatic 318i car. If you have a manual or like you say a 318ti it may be different. There is a really cool DIY link on here I saw yesterday that I'll repost for you.
