i know i need to change my abs.... but i don't need the bright orange light there to keep reminding me. how can i get rid of it without pulling out the bulb or having a fault code reader
isn't there a way to use a wire from one of the pins, in the place where you put the reset tool, and clamp it to a ground and turn the car on (position 2), not start it,and after a few seconds it'll go away?.... that's what i heard

as already stated, the code with just keep setting as long as the problem still exists... so fix it or forget it

That is for the "service interval" light. It will not work on the "abs" light. And you're talking about a problem with the braking system. Important system! Really need to have it fixed!

ABS light is a common problem to show in e36
Replace the ABS relay, and it should fix it, had the same problem on mine, it would come on and stay on, and chances its not a fault
