Anyone know how to "reset" the service light? It's in the red now, I do most of the work myself but don't know how to reset this annoying service light. Any suggestions?

No idea how to reset it. As I'm sure you know the check engine light is notoriously finicky on BMWs.

Hi,

Take a look at this link -> Service Lights reset it shows more detailed pictures and instructions for both the new and older BMW's.
I've tried it on my 1996 E36 coupe and it works well.

Good luck
