How Do I Get The Hood And Trunk Emblem Off?

I recently bought a 1995 318ti and the emblem on the front is chiping away and i want to replace it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how i would go about removing both the hood and trunk emblems. If anyone can help id appreciate it.

Screw driver under the outside of cap make sure to put a towle or something under screwdriver as to not dmage the paint
