HOW CAN YOU TELL IF THEIR REAL

Hey guys, im really interested in a set of m3 wheels (the five split spoke ones) how can you tell the reall from the replica's

The real ones will hae a BMW logo stamped on them.

I'm pretty sure the oem ones have motorsport written on the inner part of the 5 star. Mine don't I'm pretty sure they're replicas.

Mine are also replicas I believe. It only says Motorsport on the wheel, not BMW anywhere.

Plus I've heard all M3 wheels are staggered except winter M3 wheels which are the same all around.

and dont they have the part number inside the rim somewhere?

The BMW wheels are stamped, and also have teh logo imprinted on the front, no stickers etc.. like the replicas...
also the wheels are staggered, for example, 18x8 in the fron n 18x9 in the back...

On fake ones, there is usually an abrupt change in curvature on the top of the breast where the implant starts.

The biggest difference from replicas and original rims is the build quality.. next is the weight..

I'm saying my point here based on replica rims from Taiwan.. which are selling for about USD650.00 for 17" (any designs)..

I guess you like when your merchendise is made in China or Taiwan.
You probably also like when your rim weights i.e. 30lbs instead of 20, Starts to rust or impossible to ballance? ghead

i went on bmwwheels.com the other day and saw some sweet M style spoke wheels. just the other day at the gym i saw the same wheels except they had a chrome finish. do these wheels come with this chrome finish or do you have to have that done?

If your talkiing about these wheels, they come from the factory in what is called black chrome. They are for an M5, but when someone says "M spoke wheels" those are the first ones i think of....
