hey guys anyone know what this hose is? cause mine is all burnt and its all crispy and id like to replace this but i dont know the name of this kind of hose... anyone know where i can get one? thanks

My 328i
Cooling to the alternator. DON'T take it off. Probably have to go to the dealer for a new one. Mine needs replacing too. But so far it still flows air.

As long as it's still enough of the hose to flow air you're fine. The alternator gets very hot without that one there and will likely shorten it's life. I'm sure you could afo-engineer one if you needed too. Some 2 inch landscaping drainage pipe and some duct tape ought to do the trick.
