Hit a curb at 30 mph - need help with parts to replace!

I was driving around late night a few nights ago with my friend speeding around behind me, and lost control on this road that was covered in dirt, hitting a curb dead on at about 30 mph -- after some close inspection, i know that i need to replace the sway bar, links, control arms, and possibly a tie rod assembly (and the wheels =( ) whats the best way to find and replace these? or figure out what else needs to be fixed? thanks for the help

Most of those parts can be bought at Bavarian Autosport, except for maybe the sway bar. Can you give us some pictures of the damage and the year and model of your car?

Ouch. That can't make you feel good. I would check Bavauto like BimmerE39 said. If you aren't looking to spend a lot then no one would hold it against you if you went to a junk yard and pulled everything off a good car that was rear-ended. Usually if you go to one and they don't have what you need they will have a list or be able to call most of the yards in the area to check if they do. Good luck with the fix.

There's a few pics attached, thats what needs to be pulled out from what i can see. i am going to look around some junkyards tomorrow for any parts i could use. Oh, and it's a 1993 325is 5 spd

Ouch, did you hit the curb sideways? Because the control arm looks really bent. Only good news is the suspension on the 3-series is really basic so getting the work done won't be too tough.

Yeah, it was at an angle, i was turning and it would have been fine if the road wasn't covered in dirt :/ agreed that it will be fairly easy to replace in an afternoon though. It's also got some electrical problems, it has been shorting out since, and it currently isn't getting any power at all, so i can lock it or start it. I think i've located the faulty wire though

sorry to hear about the damage.... I did the same in my E36 , I hit a kerb when exiting a roundabout , I hit the kerb whilst turning , I had to replace the control arm and the wheel , then had to get allignmnet done,,,,not too bad ...all the best with the repairs,,,,

by the way if I was you I would puchased new parts not used...and its also best to replace all parts in pairs, so replace both lower arms, left and right , because when you get the allignmnet/tracking done . it may not be correctly alligned , so then you car will begin to drift or pull to on side , or worse you may find the steering wheel vibrates/shakes

Bad luck, Here in the UK we would be able to claim from the local council for the road having all dirt over it. My Friend did the same thing in his 7 series when there were some stones on the road....it cost the council £2800.
