I hear a high pitched almost squeaking like rattling coming form my drivers side front wheel well. It does get louder over any kind of uneven surface. A buddy who knows a little more than I do told me that It was probably some kind of lose clip that holds the brake pads in place? Any ideas what this might be?
that happened to me on my rear brake pads, one of the clips was broken and it was rattleing. It is very easy to check it out yourself
you can just take the wheel off, and play around with the pad, if it moves... then you need new pads, but if it doesnt wiggle at all, then its something else
Could be caliper anti-rattle clip...also, im thinking maybe hub bearings?
