Hello everyone, as you can probably tell I am brand new. I just recently inherited a 1992 E36 4 door. The bimmer I received is in really good shape for the most part, has a couple scratches and whatnot but that will all be repaired at the end of this month as she is going into the shop for a new paint job. I don't know much about cars as far as how to fix them, mod them etc...I don't like overly modified cars either.
My question is, can anyone recommend some decent headlights for my car, I want to get rid of the OEM one's and replace them with some new ones. I don't would like them with the angel eyes but I don't want to have to modify the electrical system in the car, I would like them to fit the OEM plugs. I was looking at these

Also I have no idea what the HID is, nor do I know about color...do those things require electrical modifications? Or do any seasoned E36 owners have any recommendations on headlights that fit my criteria? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am just trying to restore the car little by little...just redid the tint over the weekend, tint was bubbling up and had turned purple when my mother had it. Here are some pics of my bimmer, this is how it came, the only thing I have done to is re-tinted the windows as well as some engine work.
Also if anyone knows of any good websites to find parts etc, that would be really helpful too.
