sakuramboo is an unknown quantity at this point
im new here. ive been lookin for a BMW forum for a little while now, and im glad i found what looks to be a pretty darn good one. let me introduce myself. my handles Sakuramboo and ive been driving a 94 325i for about 2 years now, its my second car i had. my first was an 85 ford crown victoria. hahaha, i know that was a tank, but first time i drove the 325i, i just fell in love with BMWs. i live in jersey and work at pep boys. (just to get me through college) i hate it there cause we dont sell anything for euro cars. its all classic domestics and japanese cars. 2 guys i work with bought cooper s's, one with the JCW kit and the other one is getting the Dinan stage 2 kit. they said that they dont plan on racing them side by side, but i know that they will as for my car. i dont really have anything done to it yet, cause im savin up for a 97 M3. while i still have your attention, i have a question. im thinking of getting the infinity "plug 'n play" sub from bavauto. i downloaded the installation guide and it sez that it plugs into the existing pre-amp. but it doesnt say where it is. is it that black box in the trunk thats bolted to the top? if not, where is it?

first off welcome to the forums. second of all with the sub issue i would get something better , ya the plug and play thing is ok, but if your like me and want nice performance out of your stereo system go with something a little bigger. and cleaner sounding. JL would do the trick.

well, if i was gonna go all out, id just get the hammon kardone sound system. but i just need something to pick up the bass. one 10" sub is more than enough, and since that just plugs right in, itd be nice.

The factory amp where you plug it in will be on the left side of your trunk. It should have some stickers that say prewired for factory cd changer or something. It will stick out a little there just pull that piece back and viola! By the way I heard those basslinks sound pretty good for the money. Oh and welcome
