hi all, just got a 92 316i

hi guys....i have recently brought a 1992 BMW 316i. i paid 500 for it.

here is somethings i know on it...mind you i havent REALLY checked it out as im not good with that sort of thing....brakes yes the rest no lol.

ok, it has 157k miles, how many more can i get out of this car?

it has a BIT of rust around the side skirts...and front bumper.

the front bumper has a tiny split in.

also some electrics arnt working.

now im looking for some insperation in making my car look less of a beater. you see i dont want to look like a boy racer, but i do like LEDS on the inside of the car, so heres me asking for any kind of help/info/insperation on how to make my car look good.

obviously you would need to kno my personality.... well im in to rock music but dont really kno how to translate this onto my car....also does bucket seats look good in this car? really looking foward to hearing from all you guys/girls thanks in advance!

trust me as it is....hell yea! it gets fast QUICK! lol not to sound like a spas....but there was this guy i tried to overtake cos he was goin like 30 in a 70 zone...well i start to indicate and this idiot in a corsa pulled up next to me and wouldnt let me across well, the chubby lil egg on legs in the passenger seat started smilling annoyingly. well i dropped into 3rd and overtook both of them lol smoking that little boy racer!

anyways i was thinking a black and blue interior and a jet black maybe charcoal exterior. what do you think?

1. You'll get a lot of mileage out of a well-maintained 316.

2. Don't become a ricer. Please.

3. Don't try to overtake people very often. You'll just get embarrassed.

1. kool i hope so, but as i only paid 500 im prepard to not have a load of miles.

2. RICER??? ew no...not my style but i would LOVE to tidy this thing up.

3. i only overtake people if they are going rediculously slow and the guy infront was, im one of those people who think that 30 in a 70 just isnt right.
its just as dangerous. also i dont think i'd get embarrassed its not like im up against a viper lol.

hey i just picked up the standard bumper for the 3 series and a bonnet extension for..............38 quid! not bad eh?
